Matilda Curtis is a BAFTA-WINNING writer based in London. She is represented by Casarotto Ramsay in the UK and UTA in the USA.

DINOSAUR won the BAFTA Scotland for Writing (Film and Television) in November 2024, as well as the Audience Award for lead actress Ashley Storrie. It was nominated for 5 awards in all, including Television Scripted, Director Fiction and Actress Television. Matilda wrote the original pilot of the show which was shot and transmitted in 2021 for BBC3. She is also developing a drama series for Carnival and a film project with Studio Canal. Matilda is a graduate of the Soho Theatre Writer’s Lab and the Dramatic Writing course at Rada, and took her one-woman play Somebody to the Edinburgh Fringe. She was in the writer’s room for Otherwise Pandemonium for Chapter One/Netflix. She lives in South London and is currently working on Dinosaur Season 2.
